About Me
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined" - Henry David Thoreau
My name is Cristina, I am a young PhD Candidate in Economics at the University of Orléans (France) and West University of Timisoara (Romania), under international co-supervision.
During the bachelor, master and first stage of PhD degrees, I accumulated a wide pallet of knowledge, being involved in both individual and team projects. My scientific experience was also consolidated through Scientific Competitions (1st prize at the Student Scientific Communication Competition, organized by the West University of Timisoara, 2021), National Olympiads (Special Prize at National Olympiad of Economists in Training – ONEF 2021) as well as International Conferences (6th International Student Research Conference 2021 – Zeppelin University, Friedrichshafen, Germany; International Conference on Applied Business and Economics, Valletta, Malta; 6th International Conference on Business, Management and Economic, Nice, France).
During my studies, I showed determination, commitment, dynamism and teamwork spirit, in all the activities I participated in (e.g. reports, individual projects, team research projects, presentations, and brainstorming meetings). I was able to demonstrate that I could take up key challenges in the research by offering detailed and consistent economic analyses related to the recent social transformation generated by the technology development.
